John J. Krause, 67, of Lititz R2, died unexpectedly at 11:30 p.m. Thursday at Conestoga View. He was the husband of Grace Mease Krause. A retired laborer, he lived in Lititz for the past 10 years. He formerly lived in Lancaster. Born in Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Edward and Sarah Abel Krause. Besides his widow, at home, he is survived by five children, John J. Jr., and Robert Krause, both of Lancaster; Jerry Krause, Manheim; Patricia, wife of John Gregor, Edicott, NY, and Alfreda, wife of Martin Tshudy Jr., Leola; 15 grandchildren; three brothers, Harry, Lancaster; Edward, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Robert, Los Angeles, and one sister, Margaret, wife of Handley Mayer, Hollywood, Calif. (Lancaster New Era - June 15, 1973)
