Robert Krause, 77, of Millersville, formerly of Lancaster, entered into rest unexpectedly on Sunday, November 01, 2015 in his home.

Born June 22, 1938 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late John J., Sr. and Helen M. (Shoemaker), Krause.

Bob was a 1956 graduate of J. P. McCaskey.

He was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran.

Bob retired in 1994 after thirty-five years of service from Alumax, Lancaster, where he was Production Planner.

As a devout Catholic, he was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church and attended Mass regularly in the St. Joseph Chapel in Lancaster Regional Medical Center. He was a former member of St. Joseph and St. Anthony's Parishes.

Bob was a member of the Knights of Columbus #867 and the Santa Maria Assembly 915, where he was active with activities & fundraisers, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7294, Millersville / Manor, and the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge #2839, Cape May, New Jersey.

He loved spending time on family vacations at Fenwick Island, Delaware as it was his greatest joy to spend time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sisters: Alfreda Krause and Patricia Gregor.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of fifty-six years: Genevieve C. (Draude) Krause, are his daughter: Pamela A. Geiger, companion of Jeffrey L. Heisey of Lancaster; his sons: Jeffrey R. married to Lucinda of Lancaster and Thomas R. married to Marshal of Lancaster: his granddaughter: Taylor A. Krause; his grandsons: Adam J. Dommel, Zachary T. Krause, and Austin T. Krause; his great-granddaughter: Isabelle M. Dommel; and, his brothers: John J. Krause, Jr. married to Eleanor of Mountville and Jerry Krause married to Anne of Cape May, New Jersey.

In keeping with Bob's wishes, there will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends in St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster on Saturday, November 07, 2015 from 11:30 AM until the time of the Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 PM.

Private interment will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Genevieve "Jenny" Draude Krause Riccio, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019.

She was born in 1939 to Carl H. Draude, Sr. and Mabel J. Hegener Draude.

Jenny grew up on the 500 block Poplar Street on Cabbage Hill and attended St. Joseph's Church and Grade School. She then rode the Hillboat to Lancaster Catholic High School where she achieved her ambition of becoming Head Cheerleader.

She graduated from Millersville University with her Bachelor's Degree in Education, and she substitute taught for the School District of Lancaster until the age of 75.

Jenny married Robert Krause on September 05,1959. Together, they raised three children while living on Jamaica Road. They were part of a wonderful neighborhood, many of whom are still friends today.

She was devout in her faith, an active member of St. Anthony's Parish for over thirty years, and participated in all of the Social and Eucharistic events.

Jenny was so full of life, her beaming presence was felt by all those who met her. She found joy in everyone and everything that surrounded her. Any hour was happy hour for Jenny, a spontaneous spirit always seeking an adventure. Her bright blue eyes and radiant smile were shared with family and friends on numerous hikes, vacations, downtown Lancaster City walks, time spent baking, card games, and tennis matches.

After Bob's death in November 01, 2015, she married Jim Riccio on November 18, 2016. She and Jim shared three wonderful years together traveling, dancing, playing bridge, and holding hands.

A fierce competitor, chasing down the ball in the back court was her game. While with her husband: Jim, Jenny fell ill playing (and winning) one of their favorite games: Duplicate Bridge at Maple Grove.

She was preceded in death by her first husband: Robert Krause in 2015; her sister: Rosemarie Laukhuff; and, her brothers: John E. Draude, Carl H. Draude, Jr., and Eugene F Draude (Peg).

Surviving Jenny are her daughter: Pamela Heisey (Jeff); her sons: Jeffrey R Krause (Cindi) and Thomas Krause (Marsha); her granddaughter: Taylor Krause (Brandon); her grandsons: Adam Dommel (Julie), Zachary Krause (Anna), and Austin Krause (Juliann); her great-granddaughters: Isabelle and Caroline; her great-grandsons: Lucas and Adam Jr.; and, her sisters: Geraldine L. Meiskey (Jay) and Josephine A. Kingree.

Friends will be received on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM with The Rev. Peter I. Hahn as Celebrant.

Interment will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery where her husband Bob is buried.
