"Charles F. Kerstetter

EYERS GROVE - Charles F. Kerstetter, 80, a former resident of Sunbury R.D.2, died Monday at 1:20 p.m. in the Boone Nursing Home.

Born in Shamokin Aug. 14, 1893, Mr. Kerstetter was a son of the late Wilson and Alice (Schreffler) Kerstetter.

Mr. Kerstetter owned and operated a grovery store and gas station at Mayfair, Shamokin Township, for many years, then was engaged in farming in Rockefeller Township until his retirement.

Mr. Kerstetter was married to the former Janet Miller, Jan. 1, 1914. He was a member of United Lutheran Church, Sunbury R.D.

Surviving in addition to the widow are nine children, George W. Kerstetter, Norristown; Mrs. Virginia M. Goisman, Brigantine,N.J.; Leonard C. Kerstetter, Red Lion R.D. 2; Clyde R. Kerstetter, Lebanon; Donald E. Kerstetter, Shamokin Dam; Richard C. Kerstetter, Sunbury R.D. 1; Mrs. Doris L. Berger, Sunbury R.D. 2; Earl K. Kerstetter, Sunbury, and Paul C. Kerstetter, Piney Point, Md.; 22 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Irene Mull, Sunbury.

Arrrangements are in charge of the Jerre Wirt-Blank Funeral Home, Sunbury."
