F. E. WOLVERTON DIES; FUNERAL TO BE AT UNION CHAPEL
Frederick Ernest Wolverton, 68, died at his home in Cedar Rapids, Ia., Wednesday.
He is survived by his wife; eight children, Onie, Robert, James and Evelyn, all of Stanberry, Mrs. Ruth Boland, Moline, Ill., Mrs. Ray Boots, Cedar Rapids, Ia., Donald Wolverton, in the Navy at Orange, Tex., and Nadine of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Amelia Holman, Moberly, Mrs. Henry Harlan, Kansas City, Mrs. Alfred Graves, Ulman, and Mrs. Willard Webster, Clifton Hill; a brother, Joe Wolverton, Callao; and seven grandchildren.
The body is at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Union Chapel, northwest of Darksville.

MRS. MCARTHUR DIES IN ARIZONA
Mrs. Flora Wolverton McArthur, 76, formerly of Huntsville, died Monday at Phoenix, Ariz., at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Pat Boland.
She was the daughter of Curtis and Fannie Hudson, and was reared in the Brush Creek vicinity, near Union Chapel.
Her first husband was Fred Wolverton. He died in 1947.
Surviving besides the daughter in Phoenix, are four sons. Robert and James Wolverton, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Onie of Stansberry; and Donald Wolverton, San Diego, Calif.; and three other daughters, Mrs. Richard Norton and Mrs. Ray Boots, Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Gerall Farmer, of Phoenix; and five sisters, Mrs. Claude Gibson and Mrs. Ruby Winkler, Huntsville; Mrs. Florence Teter and Mrs. Viola Lair, both of Phoenix; and Mrs. Glenn Buster, Bevier; and 14 grandchildren.
The body is scheduled to arrive in Moberly tomorrow evening by train. The funeral will be at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville at 2 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Russell Pulis, pastor of the Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church at Darksville officiating. Burial will be in the Union Chapel Cemetery near Darksville.
