Mrs. Ray Boots
Helen Faye Boots, 48, wife of Ray Boots, 3371 Center Point road NE, died suddenly Monday in an Iowa City hospital. A 30-year resident of Cedar Rapids, she was born on May 25, 1925, in Huntsville, Mo. A member of Foursquare Gospel church, she and Mr. Boots were married in Anamosa May 25, 1944.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Stacia Boots, Cedar Rapids; a grandchild; three sisters, Ruth Boland and Evelyn Farmer, both of Phoenix, and Nadine Norton, Cedar Rapids, and four brothers, Onie Wolverton, Stanberry, Mo., Robert Wolverton, Cedar Rapids, James Wolverton, Marion, and Donald Wolverton, of San Pedro, California.
Services: Foursquare Gospel church at 3 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Lee Griffis. Burial: Cedar Memorial. Friends may call at Turner chapel east until 9 p.m. Wednesday and at the church from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday. The casket will not be opened after the service.
