"Mrs. Hazel M. Campbell
DANVILLE - Mrs. Hazel M. Campbell, 74, Danville RD6, died yesterdan morning in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Catawissa, Jan. 27, 1910, she was a daughter of the late Clark and Maude Lewis Hower. She married J. Lester Campbell in 1931.

She and her husband operated a farm in Rush Township for many years.

Mrs. Campbell was a member of Elysburg Presbyterian Church and a representative on the board of Presbyterian Homes in Williamsport.

She was active in 4-H work and a member of the executive committee of the Montour Agricultural Extension Office. She was also active in the Cancer Society in Montour County.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by the following children, Marvin W. of Sunbury RD1, Mrs. Janet Sabo of Haddonfield, N.J., Mrs. Barbara A. Roush of Hughesville, Mrs. Nancy E. Wiand of New Castle, Wayne E. of Coopersburg; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and the following brothers and sisters, Russell L. Hower of Camp Hill, Mrs. Helen MacNaught of Goleta, Calif., Ross L. Hower of Linden, Clair L. Hower of Rverside, Frank D. Hower of Orrtanna, Robert K. Hower of Blakesville, Mrs. Jean
Thomas of Wexford, Dr. Carlton R. Hower of Berwyn and Mrs. Rhea Livak of Lancaster.

One sister preceded her in death.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Elysburg Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Edward A. Black. Burial will be in Rush Presbyterian Cemetery, Danville RD6.

Friends will be received in the funeral home Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Donations may be made to the memorial fund of Elysburg Presbyterian Church.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, Sunbury."
