Marvin W. Campbell, Senior Master Sergeant USAF (RET) of Sunbury, passed peacefully on Tuesday, June 23.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Bernice J Campbell.
Marvin was born Nov. 3, 1931, son of the late J. Lester and Hazel Campbell of Danville. Raised on the family farm, the instilled values of hard work, family, character, and honor, served him well as he served his God, country, family and community.
His values and character are cherished and kept alive in his surviving children and their spouses: John and Joyce, Randy and Bonnie, Cindy and David, plus Bob and Maureen. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Lantz Emmanuel Church, 1445 Brush Valley Road, Sunbury, PA, 17801.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, June 27, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in the Indiantown Gap National Military Cemetery on Tuesday. Those planning to attend should wear a mask.
