"Obituary: L. E. Dieffenbacher

Warren relatives received word last evening of the death of Lloyd E. Dieffenbacher, bookkeeper at the Metric Metal Works in Erie. Mr. Dieffenbacher died yesterday morning at his home after a ten-day illness. He is the father of the Rev. Arthur J. Dieffenbacher, of China Inland Mission, Kian, Kiangel Province, China. Besides this son, he leaves his wife, Mildred J. Dieffenbacher; another son, the Rev. Robert L. Dieffenbacher, Lancaster, N. Y. and one sister, Mrs. A. J. Reinhart, Dade City, Fla. His widow was formerly Miss Mildred Johnston of this city, sister of Mrs. Ruth Barnes, of Clarendon, and Mrs. Beulah Marrer, of Warren.

Services in his memory will be held at the Donald C. Burton funeral home at 3:30 Saturday afternoon."
