The banner image for this website is taken from the top of "Woolverton Mountain" in Grimsby, ON. The "mountain" is a section of the Niagara Escarpment that runs through Grimsby. This area was originally referred to as "The Forty" by the first settlers in this part of Ontario, who included the ancestor of a large portion of the Canadian branch of the family, Jonathan Woolverton. Woolverton Road runs diagonally up the face of the escarpment and inland for some distance from Lake Ontario.
