Julia Kay (Milnes) Davidson, 69, of Moberly, died Saturday, February 16, 2019 at her home. She was born, July 21, 1949 in Macon, MO to the late Charles H. and Mary O. (Cavanaugh) Milnes.

Julia attended Grimes School, after graduating High School; she graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Education. Prior to retirement she was the Area Coordinator for St. Louis Special School District.

Julia married Kenneth Norman “Kenny” Davidson on September 17, 1971 and he survives of the home. Also surviving are her children; Christopher Davidson and his wife Mel of Virginia and Samantha “Sam” Minshall and her husband Robert “Robbie” of Moberly, three grandchildren; Lucas Whittaker, Abigail Davidson and Haley Minshall, a brother, C.L. Milnes and his wife Pamela of Kansas, five sisters; Kerma Cash and her husband Richard, Debbie Parker all of Missouri, Kristi Hughes and her husband Greg of Illinois, Suzanne Parks and her husband Rusty of Arizona and Renee Milnes of Missouri, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Julia was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Cairo Chapter 180. She loved teaching, was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling with great friends, taking pictures and loved flowers and birds. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Memorial contributions to the National Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated.

Services honoring and celebrating Julia’s life were held at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayers and burial followed in the Oakland Cemetery.
