Lived most of her life in Yell county Arkansas, near Dardanelle.

She said she was born in Jackson, Tennessee, but no record has been found
to confirm that. However her family was found in the 1900 census of
Chester County Tenn. in the 7th Civil District, which is the area of
Henderson.
