A homemaker, Mrs. Bailey was born March 1, 1920, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kati was a graduate of Norman High School and attended the University of Oklahoma. A member of the League of Women Voters, she was active in many civic and church organizations and attended the Unitarian Church.

Among her survivors are a son, Joe P. Bailey of Lawton, OK; a granddaughter, Bobbi (Darwin) Todd of Stillwater, OK; two grandsons, Eric and Alexander, both of Lawton, OK; great-grandchildren, James and Alicia Todd of Stillwater, OK; her mother, Myrtle Powell of Oklahoma City; and two sisters, Marjorie Hedrick of Oklahoma City and Patricia Willis of Los Angeles, California.

She was preceded her in death by her husband, Tooley Bailey, in 1978, and a great-granddaughter Amanda Rachel Todd in 1984.
