"John Yocum, 69, Muncy R.D., Dies Of Broken Back

John Yocum, of Muncy R.D., who received a broken back in a fall near his farm Monday afternoon died at the Williamsport Hospital at 6:45 o'clock Wednesday morning. He fell from a wagon loaded with wood after suffering an attack of illness.

He is survived by a son and two daughters Charles and Florence, at home, Mrs. M. Murcey, Eaglesmere, also by the following brothers and sisters William of Williamsport, Clyde, of Muncy, Harry, of Strawberry Ridge; Elwood, of White Hall, a half-brother, M. J. Yocum, of White Hall; Mrs. Elizabeth McCarty and Mrs. John Summer, of White Hall.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, at the residence near Clarkstown, the Rev. Collins Hazen, pastor of the Muncy Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Muncy Cemetery."
