"It has been reported above that she bore a child as the result of being raped or seduced in January, 1782. Her father's will indicates that she remained unmarried..."

...Her unusual name, the unusual treatment given to Sarah in her father's will, and the fact that Pasmeby was the only grandchild mentioned in Charles Woolverton's will suggest that she was Sarah's illegitimate child by John Taylor."
