Robert B. Mason of Hainesport died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at his residence. He was 81.

Mr. Mason was born in Philadelphia and raised in Camden and attended Camden Tech. High School.

He was a retired truck driver for the Gypsum Haulage Company in Burlington and a member of Teamsters Local 676.

Mr. Mason was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hainesport and was an avid Phillies Fan.

Husband of the late Joyce (Abel) Mason, Mr. Mason is survived by four children and their spouses: Chris Heisserman (Les) of Hainesport, Debbie Rodgers (John) of Pennsauken, Bob Mason (Sherrie) of Garland, Texas and Joy McAuliffe (Dan) of Mount Laurel. He also is survived by 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, John Mason of Marlton, and a sister, Marianne Strippoli of Voorhees; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Marne Highway, Hainesport. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hainesport.

Friends are invited to visit with family from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly.
