"Charles B. Shipman

Charles B. Shipman, 68, of Muncy RD 4, died Monday, Dec. 11, 1972, in Muncy Valley Hospital.

He was born in Muncy Creek Twp. on April 18, 1904, a son of Benton L. and Susan Glaze Shipman.

Mr. Shipman was a retired farmer.

Surviving are two brothers, Clinton and Amos, both of Jersey Shore, and eight sisters, Mrs. Verus Ritter and Mrs. William Dildine, of Muncy RD 1, Mrs. Donald Reece, Mrs. Dayton Lyons and Mrs. A;bert Snyder, all of Muncy RD 4, Mrs. Robert Wetherill, of Muncy RD 1, and Mrs. Max Womelsdorf and Mrs. Egbert Hall, both of Muncy.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wallis', 121 South Main Street, Muncy, with the Rev. Clay M. Reed, a retired Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Muncy Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday."
