Biography
When Harry Robert Rake was born on September 20, 1905, in Ripley, West Virginia, his father, Atkinson, was 46 and his mother, Marietta, was 33. He married Leah Opal Richards on June 7, 1934, in Wirt, West Virginia. They had four children in 14 years. He died on September 9, 1989, in Vienna, West Virginia, at the age of 83, and was buried in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
