Services were held Tuesday for Dorothy Mae Patterson, 62, Eldon, who died Saturday (26 May 1990) at Memorial Community Hospital (Jefferson City, MO).

Brothers Jim McGowan and Mark Kessler officiated at the Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home in Iberia. Burial was in Gott Cemetery, near Brumley.

She was born June 4, 1927, in Brumley, a daughter of Lee and Ruth Reed Stanton, who both survive in Brumley. She was married April 9, 1955, in Kansas City, to Bobbie D. Patterson, who survives at the home.

She had lived in Miller County most of her life. She was a member of the Auxiliary Rural Letter Carriers, a member of Brumley Alumni, and a member of the Baptist Church.

Other survivors include: three sons, Michael Phillips, Jefferson City, Richard Phillips, Springfield, and J.D. Patterson, Eldon; three daughters, Ruth Dinwiddie, Eldon, Patty Denton, Eldon, and Nancy Kuhs, Nixa; and six grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
