Patty Denton, 57 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Sunday November 11, 2012 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. On October 4, 1955 she was born in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of the late Bobbie D. and Dorothy M. (Stanton) Patterson. On September 30, 1979 in Osage Beach, Missouri she was united in marriage to Sam Denton who preceded her in death on May 18, 1997.

Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Bernie L. and Miriam Denton of Columbia; four step-children, Chris Denton and Wife Jeanna of Rocky Mount, Gary Denton of Eugene, Mike Denton of the State of Florida, Cheryl Sawyer of Hartsburg; brothers and sister-in-law, Mike and Donna Phillips of Jefferson City, Richard Phillips of Osage Beach, James "J.D."Patterson of Eldon; sisters and brothers-in- law, Ruth and William Frehse of Eldon, Nancy D. and David Gailey of Nixa; eight grandchildren, Abby, Kaci, Ian, Lucas, Rachel, Benjamin, Crystal and Elizabeth.

Patty was a member of the Rocky Mount Lions Club where she held many club and district offices, a member of the Missouri Lion's Pin Trader Club and received the Progressive Melvin Jones Award, an active participant with the Boy Scouts, the Eldon Merchants Christmas Parade and a member of the Red Hat's Group, and a member of the Ulman Baptist Church of Ulman, MO. Patty started hairdressing in 1974 and was owner operator of Reflection of Styles since 1984.

Visitation will be on Tuesday November 13, 2012 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday November 14, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Shirley Williams and Bro. Mark Kessler officiating. A Private Family Graveside will be held at Gott Cemetery in Ulman, MO at a later date. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials are suggested to the Patty Denton Memorial Fund
