William G. Opp, of Bloomsburg RD 1, died at his home at 3.30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1953. Mr. Opp was a farmer all his life and was a cutom thresher.

He was born in Moreland Township on Aug. 29, 1887, the son of John and Barbara Lockard Opp, both deceased. The couple made their home on Muncy RD.

Mr. Opp was a member of the Jerseytown ME Church, and the LOOM No. 623, Bloomsburg.

Surviving are jis wife, the former Edith Rishel; one son, Clarence, Bloomsburg; three daughters, Mrs. William Fisher, Bloomsburg; Mrs. Ralph Cooper, Danville RD, and Mrs. Hiram Bogart, Montoursville; four sisters, Mrs. Harry Fogelman and Mrs. Harry Fenstermacher, both Muncy; Mrs. Amanda Betz, Danville RD, and Mrs. ervin Robbins, Millville; three brothers, Elmer, Phillip and Milton, all of Muncy.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home in Washingtonville, with the Rev. Thomas G. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Muncy Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
