"Mrs. Effie M. Yagel
MUNCY - Mrs. Effie Mae Yagel, 90, a former Muncy resident, died Tuesday, April 17, 1984, at Lewisburg United Methodist Homes, where she had lived since December 1980. Her husband, Clarence M. Yagel, died in January 1981.

Born June 25, 1893, in Montour County, she was a daughter of Charles W. and Katherine Bartlow Opp.

Mrs. Yagel was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Meriam Miller, of Muncy; a sister, Mrs. Abby Wagner, of Lewisburg; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Wallis's, 121 South Main Street, with the Rev. Dale Johnson, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Muncy Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday."
