MRS. JAMES RUSSELL

Mrs. James Russell, 53, died Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 17 at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas, where she had been a patient for the past six weeks.

Genevieve Mae Norman was born February 10, 1917 in Waverly, the daughter of Samuel V. and Flora Lemon Norman. She graduated from Waverly high school, attended Wartburg College, and was employed at Lutheran Mutual Life Insurance Company at the time of her marriage to James Russell in Waverly on October 29, 1938.

The couple remained in Waverly until 1956 when they moved to Dallas where they have since resided.

She is survived by her husband, James; one daughter, Mrs. David (Julia Mae) Nutt of Arlington, Texas; one son, James N. Russell at home; and her mother, Mrs. Sam Norman of Waverly.

She was preceded in death by her father and one sister in infancy.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. at St. Andres's Episcopal Church in Waverly with burial in Harlington Cemetery."
