"Obituary for Dean Honey Robison
Dean Honey Robison died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 5:20pm.

Dean was born on September 20, 1929 in Edgar Co. Illinois to Guy and Thelma (Bozarth) Morris. She married James Lawrence Honey January 1, 1947 and to that union were born 4 children. Philip Leon, James Leslie, Laura Lee, and Keith Alan. Jim died in 1981 and in 1983 she married George Robison. He died in 1999. Dean and her family lived in and around Tamms for many years and she worked at various jobs in Tamms, lastly as a greeter for Crain Funeral Home in Tamms and Dongola. She enjoyed life, her family and meeting and mingling with people. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ullin. She was preceded in death by her husbands and 2 sons, Philip and Keith and brother, Tony Morris.

Dean is survived by her children, J.L. Honey (Mike) of St. Louis, Laura (David) Stringer of Ullin; 6 grandchildren, Tara Huffman, Kirsten Stringer, Seth Stringer (Kelsey), Leslie Thurston (Blake), Ethan Stringer (fiancé Alexandra), Heather Essary; 8 great grandchildren, Malachi, Carson, Presley, Harper, Avery, Nora Dean, Jordan, Drew; nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00am on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Clint Nale officiating. Interment will follow in McCrite Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or the First Baptist Church of Ullin and will be accepted at the funeral home."
