CRASH KILLS CHARDON MAN
A 27-year-old Chardon man was killed in a one-car accident on Euclid Chardon Road (Rt. 6) in Kirtland, Ohio. Police said Madison A. Mixter was eastbound near Sperry Road when his car went off the road, traveled about 500 feet across a ditch and landed on a guardrail. He had a blood alcohol level of .241 percent after the 2 a.m. crash, according to the office of Lake County Coroner Frederick Wachter. According to police, speed was also a factor in the accident. There were no passengers in the car.
