Death's Shining Mark. A Tender Flower Called to a Brighter Land

Missoula, Jan. 15--At 1:30 this afternoon Miss Blanche McCormick, second daughter of Mrs. Kate H. and the late Maj. Washington J. McCormick, died of heart disease. The announcement was indeed sad news to her many friends, many of whom did not know she was so seriously ill. She had been troubled with disease of the heart since she was four years old, but was in her usual health until Wednesday night, when she was suddenly taken ill.

She was 17 years old, a very pretty girl and very bright, and had a legion of friends.
