MONONA — Mr. Floyd M. Larson, age 62 of 304 Starry Avenue died on Sunday, December 4, 1977 at a local hospital. He was born February 13, 1915 in the Town of Fitchburg and was employed for the past 35 years at the Madison Kipp. Mr. Larson was married in 1937 to the former Dora Lange in the Little Brown Church. He was a charter member of St. Stephens Lutheran church, the Eastside Business Association and was also an original member of the Monona Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, Dora; a son, Larry of Madison, a daughter, Jacqueline (Jacki) Kay Brophy <http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=96890805> of Appleton; a brother, Howard of Oregon; a sister, Edith A (Larson) Laughead of Belleville and five grandchildren.

MADISON — Dora E. Larson, age 75, died on Saturday, September 26, 1992, at her residence. She was born on May 3, 1917, in Evansville, Wisconsin. She worked as a cook in the Nichols School System for almost 30 years. Dora married Floyd Larson in November of 1937. She was a charter member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church and was a member of the Monona Senior Citizens.

She is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline (James) Brophy of Appleton; a son, Larry (Margot) Larson of Waunakee; seven grandchildren, Mark Brophy, Sheryl Brophy, Julie Brophy, and Diane Brophy, all of Appleton, Christine Larson of Madison, and Autumn Larson and Tamara Larson of Waunakee; and two sisters, Elsie Yarwood of Madison, and Ina Jones of Evansvllle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and seven brothers and sisters.

Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

We'll miss you mother, but we know that you're happy dancing with Dad, with God leading your orchestra. Your strength and bravery will always be remembered.
