Phillip Leo Kennedy, 63, of Burlington, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
Born Feb. 16, 1938, in Burlington, he was the son of Leo Francis and Mildred M. Wolverton Kennedy.
Mr. Kennedy worked as an office clerk for Carl A. Nelson Co. for 40 years.
He was a member of First United Church of Christ, where he served as a greeter and usher. He loved railroad trains and helped often at the Burlington Depot.
He is survived by many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant sisters.
Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
