(Joseph) Douglas Jobe was b.Oct 29, 1914 in Aurora, Minnesota. He married Bonnie May on Aug 19, 1942 in Reno, Nevada and they had a daughter, Maudeen (Leischner) who is now married & living in Reedsport, OR. He moved his family to LaPine, OR from CA in 1964 and operated Pioneer Electric until 1975. He was past master of the Little Deschutes Grange and a past president of La Pine Community Club. He had been a resident of LaPine for 16 years when he died at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend on Feb.19, 1980. (Cause of death not disclosed). He was survived by his wife and daughter, as well as two brothers, Henry of Cloverdale, CA and Clarence Sr. of Stockton, CA, and two sisters, Dolly Murphy and Carrie Alexander, both of Stockton, CA. The family requested memorial contributions be made to the La Pine Ambulance Assn. in lieu of flowers.
