Robert Holman and Miss Bee Wolverton, and Edwin Cavanaugh and Miss Ollie Wolverton were married on Oct 5th at Clifton Hill, by the Rev Linn. The wedding party immediately repaired to Mr Holman's near Rolling Home, where a bountiful repast awaited them.

Robert S. Holman, well known resident of the county, died at his home in Moberly this Thursday morning at the age of 77 years.
He had been ill for some time. He is survived by a wife and nine children: T. E., of Cairo, L. H. of Callao; Mrs. Lena Rice of Popular Bluff, W. Roy, of Macon, Mrs. Opal Stodgill; Olion of Columbia, Mrs. Dorothy Ragsdale of Moberly, a sister also survives, Mrs. Joe Bradley of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Funeral and burial will be at Mt. Carmel.
3 May 1928 Randolph County Times.

MRS. R. S. HOLMAN DIES HERE AT 86; FUNERAL FRIDAY
Mrs. R. S. Holman, 86, died at 4:49 o'clock this morning at the home of a step-son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Holman, 628 Garfield avenue. She had been in failing health about a year.
Mr. Holman, a retired farmer, died May 3, 1928, in Moberly. She is survived by three children, Marion Ercil Holman, Moberly, Mrs. E. H. Ragsdale, Stockton, Calif., and Wendell Holman, Albuquerque, N.M.; five step-children, O. F. Holman, in whose home she lived, Leonard Holman, Callao; Elmo Holman, Keytesville, Roy Holman, Moberly, and Mrs. E. H. Stodgell, Huntsville; three sisters, Mrs. Alfred Graves, Ulman, Mrs. H. D. Harlan, Kansas City, and Mrs. Willard Webster, Clifton Hill; and seven grandchildren, 16 step-grandchildren, 13 step great grandchildren and two step great great grandchildren.
The body will be in the home where she died until funeral services at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon in Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member, by the Rev. L. B. Owens. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
