Sharon Renee Mains, 65, of Danville died at 1:42 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 26, 2004) at home.

She was born July 18, 1939 in Crawfordsville, Indiana, a daughter of Albert Austin and Zana Eleanor Pogue Hinton. She was preceded in death by her father. She married Michael Earl Mains on Jan. 27, 1963 in Newtown, Indiana. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother, Zana Eleanor Hinton-Alward of Danville; two daughters, Tina R. Ammermann of Danville and Tonya Mains of Indianapolis; a son, Travis Michael Mains of Danville; a brother, David Marcus Hinton of Vero Beach, Fl.; three grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.

She graduated from Richland Township High School in 1957 and attended Lakeview School of Nursing, graduating as a registered nurse in 1962.
