Wilson Shoemaker, 67, died Saturday morning, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Dave Anderson at Essex, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Carson mortuary and 3:15 at the Presbyterian church in Essex.
Surviving are three children, Charles, Shenandoah, William of Omaha, and Mrs. Dave Anderson of Essex. Jesse of Nebraska City and one sister Mrs. Maggie Abbott of Nebraska City.

Mrs. Iva Florence Hill Shoemaker, 90, Essex, died Tuesday, August 15, 1973, at Hand Community Hospital following seven weeks of hospitalization.
The body will be at the Hackett Funeral Home until Friday when the casket will be moved to the Carson-Hackett Mortuary, Essex, where friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Services will be held from the Hackett Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. A. R. Sorenson will officiate and interment will be in the Essex Cemetery.
Born May 18, 1883 in Knox County, Illinois, she had lived the greater part of her life in Imogene, Shenandoah, and Essex vicinities. She married Wilson Bronton Shoemaker, who preceded her in death along with one daughter.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Dave (Stella) Anderson of Essex, three sons, Charles Shoemaker of Glenwood, George Shoemaker, Omaha, and William Shoemaker of Leadville, Arkansas. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
