"Motorcycle accidents claim 2 lives
A 30-year-old Warren man was killed and an 18-year-old Newton Falls woman died of injuries received in separate motorcycle accidents early Saturday morning, according to reports from the Ohio State Patrol and Warren police.

Dead are James Blevins, 20 of 1784 Westlawn St. SW and Tammy[sic] Hidasey, 18, of 142 Westgate St., Newton Falls...

Ms. Hidasey was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by 20-year-old Sidney B. Hartz ,2821 N. Leavitt Rd., who ran into the rear of a car in front of 1301 Mahoning NW just south of North St. NW at 2:20 a.m. Saturday, Warren police said. She was rushed to Trumbull Memorial Hospital with multiple fractures and internal injuries and died at 4:45 a.m., according to a hospital spokesman. Hartz was reported in fair condition at TMH Saturday night. Ms. Hidasey's death was ruled a traffic fatality by the county coroner's office as was Blevin's death...

Warren police reported Ms. Hidasey was riding behind Hartz on his motorcycle on Mahoning NW when the bike came upon a southbound car driven by William H. Woods, 24, of 782 Tod SW. Woods told police he saw the motorcycle come up behind him and he thought the bike was going to hit his car. Police said the accident is still under investigation.

Ms. Hidasey was born Dec. 21, 1960 in Warren, a daughter of Eugene and Patricia Fraizer [sic] Mayfield. She lived in the county all her life.

She is survived by her parents of Warren, her husband William E., to whom she was married two-and-one-half years, and a daughter, Michelle Lynn, at home, a sister, Miss Melanie Mayfield of Warren, three brothers, Patrick, Michael, and Gene, all of Warren, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Fraizer [sic] of Newton Falls.

Services will be held Tuesday, at 1 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home in Niles, where friends may call tonight and Monday evening. Burial will be in the Champion Township Cemetery."
