OTIS JEFFERS
Otis Jeffers, 94, Farmersburg, died at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2004, at his residence.
He was born July 25, 1909, in Clay County to Arthur and Jenny Lawson Jeffers. He was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Harrison Jeffers, who died in 1982; and two daughters, Peggy Whitlock and Katherine Blackburn.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet McMorrow and Freda Riggins; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, Terre Haute, Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until time of services Tuesday.

GRACE JEFFERS
Grace Jeffers, 69, R1, Farmersburg, died Monday at her residence. She was a member of Farmersburg Church of Christ.
Surviving are husband, Odis; two daughters, Janet McMorrow, Beech Grove, Ind. and Freda Riggins, Farmersburg; two sisters, Lena Braner, Farmersburg and Loyes Walters, Muncie, Ind.; a brothr Bill Harrison, Terre Haute and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Peggy Whitlock in 1963 and Kathrine Blackburn in 1979.
Funeral services are set at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Fidler-McHugh Farmersburg Chapel with Brother Lavern Hall officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today.
