Alfred Graves, 72, former Randolph Countian, died early this morning in Ulman in Miller County where he had lived since leaving this county 25 years ago. He sustained a fractured hip a year ago and had not been well since.
Mr. Graves farmed in the Darksville neighborhood.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Walter; and a daughter, Ruth Paterson, Ullman; and a sister, Mrs. Henry Harlan, Kansas City. He was a brother in law of Mrs. R.S. Holman of Moberly, Mrs. Willard Webster of Thomas Hill and Joe Wolverton of Callao and an uncle of Ursel Holman, Lloyd Cavanaugh and Leroy Cavanaugh, Moberly.
Funeral services will be at 230 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Ullman Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Ulman Baptist Church for Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Graves, 82, who died Sunday at the home of her son, Walter, near Ulman. The Rev. J. Merle Bandy was the officiating minister. Burial was in Gott cemetery.
Mrs. Graves was a member of the Ulman Baptist Church for 49 years and was active also in the 3-U Club and the Women's Progressiver Farmer Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who died February 12, 1949.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Patterson of Ulman; and one son, Walter, of Ulman.
