David Charles Sparks, 77, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 17, 2013. He was born on March 10, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Charles and Merle Cox Sparks.

He attended the First Presbyterian Church of Indianapolis. He retired from Lockheed Martin after 33 years of service. He was passionate about all types of music and enjoyed astronomy, visiting museums, spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Carole Sparks, 4 children, Doug Sparks, Brad Sparks, Camille (Anthony) Dunne, Andrea (Eric) Crockett, 3 step children, Terri (Jody) McCoy, Tracey (Greg) Knuckles and Tobbie (Kurt) Schoening,17 grandchildren and 2 great grand children, sister in law, Joan Rae Stewart and special life-long friend, Richard Holler. He was preceded in death by 2 siblings.
