"Michael A. Flathers

WOODBURN - Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Belle Passi Cemetery for Michael Allen Flathers, 16, Woodburn, who died Sunday near Scotts Mills of a gunshot wound. Ringo-Cornwell Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

He was born at Bremerton, Wash., and came here eight years ago. He was a junior at Woodburn High School.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Flathers; a brother, Robert McQuiddy, Independence; two sisters, Marilyn Patterson, Mt. Vernon, Wash., and Cynthia Flathers, at home, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Flathers, Salem, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Buol, Oregon City, and Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Roe, Inkom, Idaho.
