"Hoover, Mrs. H. Jane (Beare), aged 83 years, wife of I. W. Hoover, died at her home in Avery, Erie county, Ohio, July 25, 1929. She was born in Oxford township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Beare and was one of a family of eight children. Mr. and Mrs. Hoover had been wedded 64 years and besides her husband she was survived by one son. A. L. Hoover, of Lakeside, O., one daughter, Mrs. R. E. Garnhart of Milan, and one sister, Mrs. George Laws of Oxford township. One daughter, Mrs. Harry Mason died several years ago. Mrs. Hoover was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of Milan and was prominent in the social life of the community. Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. B. Ferguson and interment was in the family lot in Milan cemetery."
