Mamie Elnora Scoles appeared in the Chester County, Tennessee census in
1900. She was in the household of her father, Charles B. Scoles.

1989: Her grave was found listed in a list of cemeteries written by a Mr.
Jones who is a teller in the First State Bank of Henderson, TN.

The Old Estes Cemetery is located south of Henderson just off Hy 45. You
go About 5 miles south of Henderson on Hy 45. The Estes Christian Church
is on the left. A gravel road goes right (West). Take it for about 0.3
mile. The Cemetery, well kept, is on the right. Apparently that is the old
location of the Estes Church. Her tombstone is a comparatively small one,
located among larger ones, and near a family group outlined in stones. The
engraving on the stone was barely legible in 1989.
