June Lee Melton, age 91, of Ozark. died Friday, June 26 1998, at Balanced Care, Nixa. She was born Feb. 1, 1907, in Ozark and was the daughter of Jeff and Lizzie (Bolin) Woods. In 1924 she and Landon Melton were married. Together they had two children, which passed away at infancy, Billy Joe and Clara Jean Melton. Mr. Melton died in 1973. Mrs., Melton later married A.T. St. Clair who died in 1980. Her third husband, LaVern "Nudd" Fitzpatrick died in 1990. June Lee was a member of Prospect Baptist Church. Several nieces and nephews survive her. Funeral services were Sunday, June 28, in Prospect Baptist Church with Pastor Tommy Bilyeu officiating. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
