WYATT

Fred Calvin Wyatt, son of Dora E. and Jacob B. Wyatt, was born April 10, 1875 near Derby and departed from this life on June 29, 1972, at the McCollum Nursing Home in Chariton, at the age of 97 years, 2 months and 10 days.

He was united in marriage to Ressa C. Johnson on June 6, 1898 and to this union three children were born: Marie Krekow, of Ames, Elizabeth De Jarnett, of Derby, and a son, Dwight M. Wyatt.

He spent the greater part of his life in the Derby area and was a member of the Methodist Church at Derby.

Preceding him in death were his father, mother, one brother, and a son, Dwight.

He leaves to mourn his passing his two daughters, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Peter Larson Monday, July 3, at the Miley Funeral Home. Burial was in the Derby Cemetery.

WYATT - Mrs. Ressa C. Wyatt, daughter of Gustaf and Gustava Brown Johnson, was born on July 8, 1875 and passed away March 22, 1967 at 91 years of age.

She was married to Fred C. Wyatt on June 6, 1898 in Derby. She had been a lifetime resident of Derby.

Preceding her in death was one son, Dwight Wyatt, and she was the last member of her family of three sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her husband Fred; two daughters, Marie Krekow of Ames, Iowa and Elizabeth De Jarnett of Derby, Iowa; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted at the Miley Chapel on Saturday, March 25 at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Donald Harding officiating. Interment was at the Derby Cemetery.
