The Harris Cemetery where William Watkins is supposed to be buried, is
located on State Hy. 154, 6.3 miles east of Centerville. No grave markers
were located for him or for Mary Louella who is also supposed to be buried
there. Rosa (Watkins) Coleman says that she has been to a number of
decorations there as a child, so she is certain it is their burial place.
While his date of death is unknown, it was later than his wife's.

Birth year is concluded from the marriage record of Fayette County, Ohio.
She was shown as 15 yrs. old when married. No record of her has been found
in the available census data in Illinois. Her family apparently came from
South Carolina to Tennessee thence to Illinois.

She may have been born in either 1879 or 1880, but she was not listed in
The Fayette County, IL census of 1880 which listed her brother William as
two years old with the parents.

In the 1900 census of Chester County, Tennessee, she was listed as born in
June, 1879, which seems to be relatively consistent.
