Mrs. Jones was born January 24, 1928 in Myrtle Springs, TX, to John Walton and Modenner Estelle Woolverton Guinn.

Julia grew up in Myrtle Springs, TX. After high school she married on December 20, 1948. She and her husband moved their family to Fruitvale in 1968. Julia is a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church . She loved to sew and make quilts. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Daughter, Gwendolyn Wheeler, Son, Bruce Jones.
