Services for Mary Lou Guinn, 72, of Mabank, Texas, are scheduled for 3:00 pm Wednesday September 5, 2012 at Eubank Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Hensley officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery, Canton, Texas.

She passed away September 1, 2012 in Athens, TX.

Mrs. Guinn was born June 22, 1940 in Chicago Heights, IL, to Jesse and Mary C. Gibbs Franklin.

She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Mabank. She moved to Texas as a young girl and went to school in Wills Point. Mary lived in Dallas and Mesquite until she retired. She then moved to Mabank to be closer to her family. She worked for 17 1/2 years for Reserve Life Insurance Company and 18 years for Zales Corporation. For the past 4 years she worked part time for the Municipal Court in Kemp. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially going to the grandchildren's sporting events.

Surviving are Son, Gary Guinn of Rockport, TX, Daughter, Gayle & David Dealva of Eustace, TX, 4 Grandchildren: Le'Shea Guinn, Addison Scott, Chance Scott, Layne Scott, Sister, Carolyn Willis of Edgewood, TX, Brother, Jesse & Debbie Franklin of Georgetown, TX, Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by Father, Jesse Franklin, Mother, Mary C. Franklin Banta, Husband, Elzie Lee Guinn, Daughter-in-law, Sheryl Guinn, Grandson, Zachery Guinn, Granddaughter, Devyn Dealva, Brother, Robert Dean Franklin, Sister, Betty Tripp.
