Mrs. Boyd L. (Jessie C. Craycroft) Cornthwaite, 76, of 5 Northern Drive died 10:59 a.m. Friday in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Mount Gilead Cemetery. Local arrangements are by Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cornthwaite was born in Dalton City, daughter of W.T. and Ada Craycroft. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Decatur Garden Club, Stephen Decatur Rose Society, Auxiliary of Beaumanior Commandery, and Eastern Star, Vivian Chapter 344, Macon and was a former school teacher in Dalton City. She married Boyd L. Cornthwaite in 1925. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are brother, Clifton Craycroft of Dalton City; sister, Mrs. Edna Veech of Lincoln Manor Nursing Center, Decatur.
One brother preceded her in death.
