Lanora "Ann" Woolley, 82, of Bellmead, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at her residence. Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7, at the funeral home.

Ann was born in Canton, Texas, to the late Martin and Emma (Morris) Corley. She married Gordon Woolley on June 14, 1947. She was a teacher's aide at Crestview Elementary until retiring after 20 years of service. Ann was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church and the heart of her family. She enjoyed hunting and crocheting, but her real passion was racing, which united her and Gordon in their love of the sport for over 65 years.

She was preceded in death by four brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon, of Bellmead; daughters, Pamela Woolley, of Bellmead, Patricia Yamada and husband, Earl, of Castle Rock, Colo., and Lisa Matthews and husband, Jason, of Bellmead; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
