"Kitty" Anita Lorraine Coppage Walden. Born February 19, 1936 in Chicago Heights, IL. Died April 12, 2007, Phoenix, AZ. Attended Murphy Elementary School and West High School in Phoenix. She lived many years in Kentucky and Michigan before moving back to Arizona. She worked at the University of Phoenix Greenway campus for ten years. Figure skating became her passion as an adult. She became a gold-level ice dancer, won local ice dance competitions, and also earned appointments as a figure skating judge. She enjoyed music, live entertainment, travel and she had a wicked sense of humor. She is survived by her son Eric Walden and granddaughter Anastasia of Flagstaff, sisters Mitzi King and Maureen Hawkins, brother Terry Coppage and aunt Mary Lorraine Flynn. Her last wish was to have a celebration of her friends and family: Laughter and memories will be shared on Wednesday, May 9th, at 4:00 p.m. at 14240 N. 5th Street in Phoenix.
