B. Muriel Cluff, of Woodstock, New Brunswick passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at her home at Riverside Court. She was born on March 22, 1913. Daughter of late Robert and Grace (Williams) Currie.

Muriel profoundly influenced many lives and loved her family and others unconditionally. She was gracious, nurturing, wise and a mother figure to many. She was extremely talented in craft work of all kinds and most well known for her egg art craft, having hundreds of eggs in many countries-the proceeds from which she donated to various charities and families in need. Poetry was her comfort and passion and her niece, Elizabeth Currie, compiled her favourite ones in a special book. As a member of St. James United Church, she worked for years on various committees and was involved in the Craft Fair, taught Sunday School and was active in the Women’s group. She was a 65 year member of Victoria Chapter #1 of the Order of the Eastern Stars.

Survived by her daughter Carol Bither (Thomas) of Florida. Grandchildren Kelly Mull and Robert Kinens. Great Grandchildren Nicole Goulette Brown, Hannah Mull, Abigail Kinens. Great Great Grandchildren Sebastian Mull and Jayden Brown. Sister-in-law, Faye Currie. Niece Kimberly Leffley and nephew Gordon Currie. Predeceased by her husband Robert Cluff. Daughter Joan Kinens. Grandchildren Ellen Goulette and David Slipp Plummer.

Visitation on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from Culberson Funeral Home. There will be an Order of the Eastern Stars Service Tuesday evening at 6:45pm at the funeral home. Funeral services to be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James United Church. Rev. Debra Baker officiating. Interment to follow at Woodstock Rural Cemetery in Spring. Donations may be made to St. James United (Children's Fund).
