Memory's
To Viet Nam he did not go, no Memorial his name to show.
Forty years he did serve, Chief Warrant Officer in the Army National Guard.
I hope some day they will understand, He wasn't any ordinary man.
Many citations he received he did his job, not for praise,
But, for freedom, peace, and you and me.
This soldier was proud to serve, his country, flag and fellow man.
Called to Duty - He did go, He did what ever he was told to do,
How he's gone - Taps has sounded, He's laid to rest.
When you see the flag flying high, or hear this country's great song.
Don't forget "My Brother," Don, He gave his very best.
by Sharon Lynette Wolverton, Virgadamo, Madsen in memory of her brother.
