Market Operator Dies In Hospital

Escoe A. "Jerry" Robinson, 62 years old, 2601 Park street, died at 8:50 o'clock Monday night at Union Hospital. He owned and operated Robinson's Market at Twentieth and Crawford streets, having entered the business after retiring from Hulman & Co. in 1959.

Surviving are the widow, Charlotte; one son, Rupert L., of Ft. Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Fucella of Terre Haute and Miss Jerri Lynn Robinson at home; one stepson, Bernie Reece at home; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Barbara Webster of Terre Haute, and one brother, Raymond of New Harmony.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge No. 86, Social Lodge No. 86, F&AM; United Commercial Travelers Association and the Vigo County Conservation Club.

The body was taken to the Callahan Funeral Home where services will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning with the Rev. John Rawlings officiating. Burial will be made in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call after noon Wednesday. The Elks Lodge will conduct memorial services at 7:15 o'clock Wednesday evening and Masonic services will be conducted at the grave.
