Mary Estelle Eckert, 89 of Jacksonville, died Friday, March 18, 2011. She was born September 23, 1921 in Washington, Pennsylvania to the late Thomas and Hazel Kelley Chadwick. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Weldon Davis, Sr., and her second husband, Paul Eckert. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Ethel M. (Charles) Lyons, Joan K. (R.J.) Crews, and Weldon L. Davis, Jr., brother, Herbert Chadwick, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2011 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Zumalt officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of Woodland Hills Nursing Home, especially Vicky McElwrath. Arrangements are by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home 501-982-2136.
